New Honda CB350 Cafe Racer Incoming
Your H’ness is a roadster, scrambler and now, a cafe racer!
Recently, Honda put together an event for its dealers to showcase the new CB350 in a cafe racer avatar. It looks cute and will make a nice addition to the CB350 family. Given that the bike looks set to arrive in showrooms soon, we can expect an official launch soon. That said, let’s look at what's new on this cafe racer styled CB350.
The short answer is, not much really, just some cosmetic changes. Honda has taken the CB350 and covered it up from the front and back with retro cafe racer body panels - headlight and tail cowl. If you want the racer-like tail cowl then you lose the option of a pillion seat, it’s a whole piece not just a cover. It also threw on gaiters for that extra retro touch. You can also see three models standing with different accessories, so there’s scope for buyers to further kit up the bike to their liking.
Mechanically it’s unlikely that Honda will do anything special, same motor and same power as the other two CB350s. How this new retro screen helps with wind deflection will tell if the performance on this cafe racer is better than its siblings.
Currently prices for theH’ness CB350 are Rs 2,00,386 for the base variant and Rs 2,07,886 for the Anniversary edition. Meanwhile the top variant of the CB350 RS costs Rs 2,06,015 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi) and the base variant is just thousand rupees cheaper. Hence you can expect the price for one of these to be somewhere around Rs 2.15 to Rs 2.20 lakh. We believe the single seat variant will be the most expensive option.
