OBD 2 Compliant Yamaha MT-15 V2, FZ-X And R15 V4 Launch Today
These bikes are set to get greener on the streets while being meaner with new features

Yamaha India is all set to launch its OBD 2 compliant range of motorcycles today at 11.30am. The MT-15 V2, R15 V4 and FZ-X are set to become BS6.2 compliant, while also packing a bunch of serious updates.
The Japanese marque had homologated the OBD 2 compliant MT-15 V2 earlier this year. The leaked document revealed the technical specifications of this bike, which you can check out here. This device constantly monitors emissions and notifies the rider about any irregularities via a malfunction indicator on the instrument cluster.
The R15 V4, FZ-X and MT-15 V2 will be the first three Yamaha bikes to comply with the new emission norms that will kick into effect from April 1 onwards. We expect these updated models to be priced at a premium ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000, over the current bikes.
