Oben Rorr Electric Bike Launch Date Revealed!
The Tork Kratos’ rival is coming soon, likely priced at around Rs 1.2 lakh
Oben Electric, a Bangalore-based EV startup, is all set to launch the Rorr, the company's first electric bike, on March 15. And upon its arrival, it will lock horns with the Tork Kratos and the Revolt RV400 in the Indian market.
During launch, Oben's founders will also discuss the potential of high-speed electric two-wheelers in the country and the company's expansion-cum-investment plans.
The design of the electric bike comes across as sharp and muscular, sporting a circular LED headlight and slim turn indicators. The side profile looks neat and clean, and it also features an underbelly pan, a split-type seat, and sharp rear grab handles.

The battery pack and electric motor details have yet to be known. However, the company claims that the Rorr will offer an ideal driving range of 200km and a top speed of 100kmph. Oben Electric also says that the EV goes from 0-40kmph in 3 seconds while requiring only 2 hours for a full charge.
We expect the Oben Rorr to arrive with a price tag of around Rs 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom, including the FAME II subsidy). If you seek more performance, we suggest you wait for the Ultraviolette F77, which will likely arrive soon as well.
