Pi Moto Starship 3: 300cc Cruiser Launched Abroad
Powered by a 300cc V-twin heart, the cruiser packs a lot of interesting features
Chinese two-wheeler giant Lifan Motors’s new sub-brand, Pi Moto, has launched the all-new Starship cruiser in its home market, and it looks incredible, to say the least. The Starship was unveiled just over a month ago, and has had our interest ever since.
In terms of appearance, the Starship 3 can be easily mistaken for a 600cc cruiser with a rather unique design inspired by spaceships. That said, it also takes inspiration from big names like the Honda Gold Wing and the BMW K 1600 GT. The ambient lighting in the bodywork, air intake, sleek fairing and large bagger-like panniers on the sides make the Starship 3 really stand out.
Powering this attractive machine is a 304cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled heart producing 31.95PS and 26.8Nm. It comes paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and gets a belt drive system as well.

Braking is done via single discs at both ends.
Features is where the Starship 3 shines like a diamond. It gets an electrically adjustable windshield, rear view mirrors with integrated LED indicators, a keyless start system, multi-function LCD screen with navigation, and even Bluetooth audio.
In the Chinese market, the Pi Moto Starship 3 is priced at Yen 24,888, an equivalent of around Rs 2.83 lakh. That’s incredible value for money for a stylish, feature-laden bagger! That said, it is quite unlikely that the cruiser will be heading to our shores; however, with the entry of Zontes and Moto Morini into India, that possibility cannot be ruled out completely. If you’re looking for a potent 300-400cc cruiser in India, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is one of the best choices out there.
