Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Features Explained

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants: Analogue, Dash and Flash. The base variant gets the semi-digital instrument console from the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 350 whereas the mid and top variant features a full TFT display borrowed from the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Analogue, the base variant of the ADV, is priced at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom). It has a semi-digital instrument console, in which the analogue part shows the speed, whereas the digital inset includes the odometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge, gear shift indicator, ride mode, service reminder, engine temperature, clock and basic telltale lights.

It also gets a Tripper navigation pod as an optional accessory, which enables smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation.

The Guerrilla 450 Dash is the mid variant and costs Rs 2,49,000, and Flash is the top-of-the-line variant that is priced at Rs 2,54,000 (ex-showroom). Both these variants have a round TFT display borrowed from the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, with smartphone connectivity and Google Maps navigation.

Other readouts include a speedometer, tachometer,  odometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge, gear shift indicator, ride mode, engine temperature, and a clock. The console has two different display modes for day and night.

Common Features On All Variants

All three variants of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 come equipped with all-LED lighting, a USB charging port on the handlebar and a side stand sensor. The 450cc roadster also gets a slip-and-assist-clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and has 2 riding modes: Eco and Performance. The bike is fitted with alloy wheels as standard and comes with dual-channel ABS, which enhances convenience and safety.

The Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 40.02PS at 8000rpm and 40Nm at 5500rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The 450cc roadster competes against other 400-450cc roadsters including the Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440 & Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
