Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 To Get Tripper Navigation Assist Soon

Modified On Nov 6, 2020 01:59 PM By Benjamin Noel Gracias for Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

The Tripper pod debuted on the Meteor 350

The Tripper accessory will be priced at Rs 4,750.  It will be a standalone pod and draw power from the Interceptor. It displays navigation instructions through Bluetooth.

The Royal Enfield Meteor was the first motorcycle to get Bluetooth and navigation assist via a separate pod called the Tripper. This accessory will soon make its way into the larger Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 as an accessory fitment. It will be priced at Rs 4,750.

The Tripper pod will be installed next to the 650cc bike’s twin-pod instrument console setup. It is expected to draw power from the motorcycle battery. The Tripper syncs with your smartphone via Bluetooth and uses Google Maps to display directions and distances via its colour TFT screen.

Given that it is a standalone pod, we do not see any reason why you couldn’t fit it on other Royal Enfield motorcycles such as the Classic 350 and the Himalayan. We strongly suspect Royal Enfield will offer the Tripper as an accessory on its other motorcycles as well.

Royal Enfield has been working on equipping its motorcycles with modern features and enhancing the overall buying experience. It recently introduced a ‘Make-It-Yours’ 3D configurator app which allows customers to pick and choose accessories at the time of booking. You can read all about it here.
