The waiting period ranges from 2 to 4 months depending on the city. Compared to June, the waiting period in Delhi and Mumbai have increased. Cities like Chennai, Pune and Bengaluru have shorter waiting periods than in June.Royal Enfield’s flagship motorcycles, the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, are two of the most popular bikes in their segment in terms of performance as well as sales. For August, the waiting period for the 650cc twins range from two to four months across major cities. Here’s the full list:

Four months ago, the waiting periods were considerably higher. However, compared to how the situation was in June, this month’s waiting periods have remained more or less the same overall. It has gotten longer in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, whereas the waiting periods have gone down in cities like Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune. It is pretty much a given that the Interceptor 650 is preferred by most of the customers over the Continental GT due to its easy-going ergonomics and versatility.
The 650 twins have been tallying healthy sales numbers so far. In June, Royal Enfield sold 1,751 units, which is twice than that of the sales numbers of the Classic 500, Bullet 500, Thunderbird 500 put together! At Rs 2.5 lakh for the Interceptor 650 and Rs 2.65 lakh for the Continental GT 650, the two motorcycles offer phenomenal value for money for the kind of performance they offer. The 650 twins are also the most affordable twin-cylinder big bike in the country.
