Royal Enfield Launches A New Variant Of The Meteor 350
It gets some cosmetic changes and three new colour schemes
Royal Enfield recently revealed the Himalayan 452, which is slated for a November 7 launch. Before that, the manufacturer has launched a new Aurora variant of the Meteor 350, priced at Rs 2,19,900 (ex-showroom). The Aurora variant offers three new colour choices: Aurora Blue, Aurora Green, and Aurora Black. Notably, this pricing places the Aurora model between the Stellar and Supernova variants, priced at Rs 2,15,900 and Rs 2,29,900, respectively.
The Aurora Green variant stands out with a striking green, orange, and ochre dual-tone paint scheme on the tank and side panel, while the Aurora Blue variant features a captivating blue and white dual-tone paint job on the tank and front fender. The Aurora variant also boasts spoke wheels with tube tyres and a chrome finish on the engine and exhaust. Additionally, it comes with a deluxe touring seat, a sizable windshield, and the Tripper navigation system as standard features.
Furthermore, Royal Enfield made updates to the other Meteor 350 variants. The Supernova variant now features an LED headlight and aluminium switch cubes. The Stellar variant includes the Tripper navigation system as a standard offering, and the black colour scheme on the Fireball variant is now also standard.
Except for the visual updates, the Meteor is otherwise unchanged mechanically. Its 349cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine produces the same 20.2PS and 27Nm as before. The Meteor 350 continues to rival the likes of the Yezdi Roadster, Jawa Perak, Bajaj Dominar 400, and Keeway V302C.
