Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Tastefully Modified Into A Bobber

Modified On Jun 20, 2022 03:55 PM By Nishaad for Royal Enfield Meteor 350

It’s a perfect example of how a laidback cruiser can be transformed into a sporty bobber with just a few subtle changes

Royal Enfield motorcycles are some of the most custom-friendly two-wheelers not just in India but in overseas markets as well. We bring to you one such case today. Brazilian Instagram user Firebobber has tastefully modified his Royal Enfield Meteor 350 into a bobber-style motorcycle from Volcano Garage.

In traditional bobber style, this custom-built Meteor 350 gets a single seat for the rider along with a twin shock absorber unit beneath it. While the fuel tank is stock and so is the handlebar, the latter gets bar-end mirrors which further enhance the bike’s authentic bobber look. The Meteor 350 seen here is a Fireball variant so along with the already blacked-out internals, the fenders have been chopped too, to enhance the bike’s charm. The black alloys are unchanged but the side panels on this bike are custom-built.

While this bike has been given a new, LED headlight, it stays true to its retro roots by adopting a round casing for the headlight. The taillamps too, have been replaced by a pair of aftermarket units which are attached to the rear shock absorbers, giving the bike a rather unique look. The aftermarket short bottle canister only makes things better visually, and hopefully in terms of performance as well. In order to not compromise on convenience, you can also add a pillion seat when the need arises.

Top 5 Things You Need To Know Before Buying A Royal Enfield Himalayan

There is no mention of any change made to the engine and we suspect the bike is still powered by the familiar 349cc engine making 20.5PS and 27Nm. Braking duties on the stock Meteor 350 are handled by single disc brakes at both ends along with a single-channel ABS. On the features front, you get a semi-digital instrument cluster. You also have a Tripper Navigation pod which was previously available as standard

The modifications on the bike are pleasing and the entire package comes together very well, to give the bike a true-blue bobber look. The added convenience of being able to put a seat back when needed puts the rider’s mind at peace, making the bike stylish yet practical.

If such a motorcycle were to make its way to India, it could go up against the Jawa Perak, the only other small-capacity bobber-style motorcycle in India.
