Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 Spotted In India With LED Headlight
There seem to be a few visual differences from the test mule spotted abroad
Amongst Royal Enfield’s grand plans, there is a 650cc scrambler in the works, which was first spotted in the UK. Soon thereafter, it was spotted on our shores and it was snapped up once again.
There aren’t many major updates to report. This test mule was still running with the Interceptor 650’s triangular side-panels and not the circular number plate ones seen earlier. Royal Enfield also seems to be working on different turn-indicators as well as mounting plates for the same, as clearly seen on this bike.

While there are a few upcoming Royal Enfield bikes sharing the same 648cc heart, like the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650, we hope that the company tweaks this engine to suit this scrambler’s nature. For perspective, the 650 twins make 47.65PS and 52Nm. As for its underpinnings, the preload-adjustable twin shocks, upside down fork and dual-purpose tyres wrapped around wire-spoke wheels are likely to be shared with a few other upcoming Royal Enfield bikes.
We expect Royal Enfield to price it between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom). For perspective, the Interceptor 650’s prices start from Rs 2,88,814 (ex-showroom Delhi). Once here, it will rival the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6 ½.
