Looks classy and gets an accessory pillion seat

Beat the mid-week blues with a fresh glimpse of the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 bobber, featuring a stylish pillion seat accessory.

While this isn't the first time we've spotted the pillion seat, it's the first time we've seen it without any other accessories. The Shotgun 350's subframe resembles that of the Meteor 350, and the raised pillion seat adds to its sleek appeal. Plus, it seems easily removable, for those who want a traditional single-seat bobber look.

The design of the Shotgun 350 closely resembles that of the Classic 350, but it stands out with its apehanger handlebars, sporty white-walled tyres, and swingarm-mounted rear fender. Keep an eye on the chrome LED turn indicators – could they be standard? We'll soon find out.

When it comes to powertrain, expect the same J-series 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that powers the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350, though possibly with different ignition mapping. Want to know how it sounds? Check out a recent internet video for a sneak peek.

The production-ready test model looks promising, but the Shotgun 350 isn't expected until mid-2024, with an estimated price tag of Rs 2.2 lakh (ex-showroom). It'll compete with the likes of the Jawa Perak and 42 Bobber.
