Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Spied Yet Again
The 650cc roadster can once again change the game for Royal Enfield
The Shotgun 650 has been spied once again and the motorcycle looks promising. Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform has given the masses access to twin-cylinder fun at the cost of premium 300cc bikes. Hence, the idea of a new sub-Rs 4 lakh roadster is a pretty exciting one!
The Shotgun 650 has been spied on in India many a time now in its near-production avatar. What’s most refreshing is how similar it is to the SG650 concept showcased last year at EICMA. While the concept was a single seat bobber, the test mule is seen sporting split seats. Our guess is it will be homologated as a twin-seater but one can easily remove the pillion seat for a cool, clean, solo look.
In terms of new hardware, the motorcycle is seen riding on an upside-down fork which will be a first for Royal Enfield. In fact, even the upcoming Himalayan 450 and Super Meteor 650 are seen sporting the same. Check out this article which rounds up everything known about the Shotgun 650 so far.

The Shotgun 650 is likely to arrive alongside the Super Meteor 650, likely by November this year, just before Rider Mania 2022. The Shotgun 650 currently has no natural rivals in India and could be priced at around Rs 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
