Scoop: 2022 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Rendered, Launch Likely In July
Our man Eshan Shetty has made a rendering of the next-generation 150cc Pulsar based on the recent spy shots
Bajaj is all set to launch the next-generation (sub-250cc range) Pulsar lineup this year, and the 2022 Bajaj Pulsar 150 has also been spotted testing recently. Eshan Shetty from our team has made a rendering of the 150cc bike, bearing a closest resemblance to the test mule.
Just like the spy shots, this rendering also takes inspiration from the Pulsars of the past. The tank extensions are reminiscent of the Bajaj Pulsar LS135, and the bike gets sporty looking engine cowl as well. The bikini fairing houses a new projector headlight along with ‘Wolf eyed’ LED DRLs. The single piece seat is mounted on a sleek-looking tail section with integrated fender and license plate holder. It also features a chain cover for added protection.

Powering the Pulsar 150 will be a new air-cooled heart, which could produce slightly more than the current-gen 14PS and 13.25Nm motor. Since the 2022 Pulsar 150 is based on the Pulsar 250 twins’ platform, it will come with a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking will be via a disc up front and a disc or drum at the rear, depending on the variant, along with a single-channel ABS.
