Scrambler SV650 by Suzuki showcased in United Kingdom
Suzuki showcased a scrambler version of its SV650 at ‘Motorcycle Live’, held inUnited Kingdom from 28th November to 6th December. This new version was unveiled in Milan Motor Show earlier this year and now is being displayed in the United Kingdom to attract more customers towards SV650, which made its debut in 1999. The new scrambler gets an overall upgrade in terms of additional accessories, design frame and engine. It is also equipped with aluminium front mud guards, chain guard and a radiator guard.

To give it a scrambler look, deep-treaded tyres have been used instead of the standard ones. The frame has been exposed a bit and exhaust pipe is covered with hard cloth to make the bike look rough. The new Scrambler SV650 would bring more convenience for tourers as it will be offered with a tank bag and a huge saddle back.

The bike receives a new V-Twin 650cc engine, which is designed to produce more power and takes lesser fuel. The engine produces a maximum power of 75bhp at 8500rpm and a peak torque of 64Nm at 8100 rpm. The bike also gets a new Nissin ABS system, as the company has not updated the suspension or the braking system in the new model.

Japanese manufacturer Suzuki has not revealed the price yet, but it is expected to be priced around its competitor, Yamaha MT 07, which can be bought at a price of Rs 5,22,272.65. Indian consumers have to wait for this bike, but seeing the scrambler at 2016 Auto Expo will be a treat for bikers.
