Suzuki Gixxer Range And Intruder Receive A Price Hike

After the scooters, Suzuki has now bumped up the prices of its motorcycles too 

Suzuki has hiked the prices of its motorcycles. The Suzuki Gixxer is now priced at Rs 1,14,687, up from the previous price of Rs 1,14,500. The Suzuki Intruder’s price has gone from Rs 1,22,141 to Rs 1,22,327. All five bikes in the Gixxer and Intruder lineups have received the price bump. Also Read: Suzuki Access 125 Range Prices Hiked

The price bump isn’t very substantial and shouldn’t be a deal-breaker if you are on the hunt for one of these bikes. Suzuki has made no mechanical changes to any of the models. The Gixxer SF competes against the Yamaha R15 and the Xtreme 200s. The Gixxer 150 goes up against the Yamaha FZ-S V3, Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero Xtreme 160R. Bajaj recently hiked the price of the Avenger Street 160 and yet it is almost Rs 20,000 cheaper than the Intruder. The Avenger Street 160 uses a 160cc motor that makes 15PS of power and 13.7Nm of torque whereas the Intruder uses a 155cc engine that makes 13.6PS and 13.8Nm.
