Suzuki GSX-R150 MotoGP 2020 Edition Launched in Indonesia
The new colour commemorates Suzuki’s centenary milestone
Team Suzuki Ecstar, Suzuki Motorcycles’ factory MotoGP racing team, has been doing well in the current season of racing with two wins and it’s currently leading the championship. To celebrate the team’s efforts and the brand’s centenary, Suzuki Indonesia has released the 2020 GSX-R150 in the appealing Ecstar MotoGP livery. Coincidently, this year also marks Suzuki’s 50th year of operations in Indonesia.
Inspired by the GSX-RR MotoGP machine, the baby GSX-R also gets the same Solarise silver and Triton blue colour scheme with the “Suzuki Ecstar” logos running across the fairing. This is the same colour combination that the brand used in 1960 when competing in the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy.
Introducing MotoGP-inspired livery isn’t new to the brand. Suzuki introduced the Gixxer SF 250 in the MotoGP livery in India earlier this month.
The GSX-R150 MotoGP edition has been launched in Indonesia at IDR 31,600,000 for the keyless ignition and non-ABS version, which translates to Rs 1.59 lakh. The bike will be available in showrooms from next week.
