The special edition pays homage to the Suzuki Hayabusa legacy

Suzuki India has launched the 25th anniversary edition of the iconic Suzuki Hayabusa. This special edition comes with a lot of distinct design elements and liveries that pays homage to the legacy of the Hayabusa and comes at a price of Rs 17,70,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 80,000 more than the base variant that costs Rs 16,90,000.

The special edition comes with a orange and black colour scheme featuring special liveries including the Hayabusa japanese character in black painted on the fairing. Additionally, Suzuki has also added a 25th anniversary emblem along with a 3D Suzuki logo on the tank. A special 25th anniversary emblem has also been added on the exhaust.

To make the bike look more special, the manufacturer has used gold finish on the front disc brake rotors and drive chain adjusters. The chain also comes with a gold finish with the Japanese hayabusa character on it. Which is quite an interesting addition overall. Lastly, the special edition comes with a rear seat cowl as standard. And given that there is no pillion seat, there is obviously no saree guard as well.

Other than the addition of these design elements, the Hayabusa hasn’t seen any changes in terms of its performance and the bike is still one of the fastest bikes in production today and it comes with a 1340cc inline-four engine which produces 190PS at 9700rpm and 150Nm at 7000rpm.
