Hero Splendor Plus Revives Classic Charm With This New Colour Option
The recently added Fiery Blue colour option doesn’t come at an extra cost over the bike’s price tag
The Hero Splendor Plus, India's best-selling bike, and more importantly, the “Splendor” nametag is a symbol of nostalgia deeply cherished by Indians, going back to the Hero Honda era. The iconic red and blue graphics on a sleek black paint job define the very essence of "Splendor." Fortunately, reliving this nostalgia no longer requires time travel, thanks to Hero MotoCorp's recent reintroduction of the OG Fiery Blue color scheme for the Hero Splendor Plus.
The reintroduced Fiery Blue color scheme on the current Splendor Plus model is remarkably similar to the original, making this bike an instantly recognizable classic on the streets. The Hero Splendor Plus gets a single-cylinder, air-cooled 97.2cc fuel-injected engine, producing 8.02PS and 8.05Nm of power, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. It features 130mm drum brakes at both ends, a seat height of 785mm, a wheelbase spanning 1,236mm, a ground clearance of 165mm, a kerb weight of 112kg, and a fuel tank capacity of 9.8 liters.
With a price tag of Rs 74,491 (ex-showroom Delhi), the Hero Splendor Plus’ rivals include the Honda Shine 100, TVS Radeon, TVS Sport, Honda CD 110 Dream and Bajaj Platina 100.
