The Suzuki Hayabusa Gets Cleaner, Snazzier And Dearer
The superbike now costs almost half a lakh rupees more than before
As we’d mentioned in our exclusive report, the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa has been launched in India in not only new colours, but also with OBD2 (BS6 Phase 2) compliance. The 2023 ‘Busa is priced at Rs 16,90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 49,000 dearer than before.
The superbike is draped in a new Metallic Thunder Gray/ Candy Daring Red, Metallic Mat Black No. 2/ Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Vigor Blue/ Pearl Brilliant White. All these shades are the same as the US-spec model that were introduced in June last year. These colour variants replace the previous ones that were on offer in India, and the bike will be available across all Suzuki big bike dealerships starting today.
Of the three, the black and red colour variant looks the hottest as it comes with sporty candy red highlights wrapped neatly in a subtle metallic grey finish on the bodywork.

Upcoming Suzuki Bikes In India
Apart from the colour schemes and cleaner emission compliance, the rest of the bike remains the same as before. This is Suzuki India’s first big bike to be updated to BS6.2 emission compliance – the V-Strom 650XT and the Katana are yet to receive theirs.
In a related development, we’ve gotten the first official look at the upcoming Suzuki Burgman electric scooter, and you can read more about the India-bound e-scooter here. You can also check out when it will be launched in India here.
