The Upcoming 390 Duke Looks Even More Menacing In Its Natural Orange!
The typical orange paint scheme accentuates the redesigned elements very well
(Update: KTM has launched the 2024 390 Duke and 250 Duke at really competitive prices)
With the 2023 KTM 390 Duke set to be launched towards the end of this year, we have gotten several glimpses of what it could look like over the last few months. Like when it was spotted unmasked abroad and we spotted the new muscular design language along with new tank extensions and a redesigned rear-end.
And now the 2023 390 Duke has been spotted in a typical KTM orange shade and it looks just stunning! The bright orange colour in the tank and the extensions makes the new headlight design pop and makes the aggressive looking design more muscular and hunched down from the front. The orange paint scheme has a particular pattern of flow to it from the tank and the extensions to the mainframe and ending with the seat with no break-off, making the overall look of the streetfighter all the more menacing and satisfying at the same time.
In addition, we also got a glimpse of the upcoming 390 Duke’s console when it was spotted testing on Indian roads last month. This time around, KTM seems to have given the bike a much bigger console with the tachometer occupying the majority of the screen.
The headlight and the DRLs have been redesigned too, with the turn indicators now integrated into the face itself. The mirrors, handlebar setup and split-seat design have been reworked too, giving the 390 Duke a more upright riding stance.
We had been expecting the 2023 390 Duke to get a thorough generational update, and judging from the several sightings abroad and also in India, it looks like that actually might happen. The upcoming streetfighter from KTM is expected to make its debut at EICMA later this year. So, we are keeping our fingers crossed that it gets launched here very soon after that!
