From electrics to ones with big petrol engines, here are all the two-wheelers that came our way this month
March madness has come to an end, and this month was not short of launches and updates with regard to two-wheelers. So, here’s a list of all the scooters and bikes that got launched in the market this month.
Matter Aera
Matter has finally given its first electric bike a name – Aera. The electric motorcycle comes packed with features. With a reasonable price tag, the Aera is also one of the first electric two-wheelers in India to get a liquid-cooled battery pack, motor and a four-speed gearbox. Check it out here.
2023 Bajaj Chetak
Bajaj launched the 2023 iteration of the Chetak electric scooter and it comes painted in a new colour. It also features a few other upgrades. Here’s what’s new.
Hero Super Splendor
Hero has given its 125cc commuter bike, the Super Splendor, the Xtec treatment. Now it comes loaded with features and gets a fairly decent premium over the other variants.
Honda CB350s
Complying with the BS6 Phase 2 norms are the updated Honda H’ness CB350 and the CB350RS. Both bikes got some basic upgrades and command a steep premium over the previous models.
Bajaj Pulsar NS160 & NS200

Kawasaki Z900RS
Kawasaki’s gorgeous neo-retro bike, the Z900RS, has come back to India after almost three years. And it has made a comeback with a price tag that will make you feel like you are cutting onions.
Hero Electric Scooters
For a more youthful appeal, Hero Electric has updated its entire Optima and NYX lineup. These updates have also resulted in the brand crossing the Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) price tag for any of its products for the first time.
Honda Shine 100
To compete against 100cc commuter bikes, Honda has launched the Shine 100, a true-hearted commuter that will rival India’s best-seller, the Hero Splendor Plus. It looks like its older sibling, the Shine 125 and is nearly Rs 7,500 more affordable than the Splendor.
Royal Enfield 650 Twins
Royal Enfield has updated its 650 twins, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, making the bikes more modern than ever. And they finally get alloy wheels!
Honda Activa 125 H-Smart
Becoming safer and greener than before is the Honda Activa 125, as the H-Smart variant of the scooter got launched this month with a decent premium.
OBD 2 Updates
Apart from all these updates and launches, Suzuki came up with its OBD-2-compliant Access 125, Burgman Street and the Avenis. They are also E20 fuel compatible.
