It was an eventful week in the two-wheeler world with a much-awaited ADV from Royal Enfiled getting launched. In case you missed out on all the news stories from this week, here’s a quick lowdown on them:

Motoverse 2023

The highly anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 was launched at Motoverse 2023 (formerly Rider Mania). 

At the same event, Royal Enfield revealed a custom version of the upcoming Shotgun 650 Twin, designed as a single-seat bobber with flexibility for a pillion seat or luggage rack. 

EV Updates

Orxa Energies launched the long-awaited Mantis electric motorcycle. It gets a liquid-cooled powertrain and the second highest range in India.

Ather Energy's CEO, Tarun Mehta, confirmed plans for a family scooter launch (expected by mid-2024) and a more powerful variant of the 450X in early 2024.

Yamaha R3 and MT-03 

The Yamaha R3 and MT-03 are set to be launched in the Indian market, initially arriving through the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route with a potential shift to the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route based on demand.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 

Dealer sources have confirmed the discontinuation of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 single-channel ABS variant. All available color options now feature dual-channel ABS as a standard configuration.

Next-gen Husqvarna Vitpilen 250

Spy shots captured the next-gen Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 while it was being tested. The streetfighter gets a larger and more robust design compared to the current-gen model. Notably, it shares several components with the KTM 250 Duke
