This has been an exciting week, to say the least, and boy-oh-boy do we have some exciting news to cover that took place throughout the week. In case you missed out, here’s a recap of all the action which took place:
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Launched
Royal Enfield launched their first bobber motorcycle, the Goan Classic 350 in India and the prices start from Rs 2,35,000 to Rs 2,38,000 (both prices ex-showroom, Chennai). It is based upon the Classic 350 but gets major updates such as an ape hanger-style handlebar, forward set footpegs, funky colour options, white-walled tyre and tubeless spoke wheels. The bike remains mechanically unchanged from the Classic 350 but gets a lower seat height of 750mm and a 16-inch rear wheel to add to the retro bobber look.
Honda Activa Electric Battery Specs Revealed
Honda has teased the upcoming Activa electric and has revealed the battery setup it will get. The Activa Electric will feature a dual-battery setup which will be removable and placed in the underseat storage of the electric scooter. Honda is also planning to set up battery swapping stations across the nation to help decrease the range anxiety.
Royal Enfield GT750 Spotted Testing
Royal Enfield GT750 has been spotted testing and it gets major updates over the GT650. The new GT750 features new bikini-styled fairing, a brand-new 750cc engine, a reworked chassis, and new exhausts. Other changes we can observe are the addition of twin-disc brakes at the front end and a race plate on the side panels which adds to the sporty nature.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V launched with new updates
TVS has launched a new variant of the Apache RTR 160 4V. The new top-variant comes with an USD fork and three new colour schemes. The bike remains mechanically unchanged and is priced at Rs 1,39,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Brixton Motorcycles and VLF e-scooter launched in India
Brixton Motorcycles and VLF (Velocifero) have launched 4 motorcycles and an electric scooter in India. The Brixton motorcycles include the Crossfire 500 range and the Cromwell 1200 range. VLF has launched the Tennis 1500W electric scooter in India. Both brands have partnered with KAW Veloce Motorcycles and have set up a production facility in Kolhapur and will bring the motorcycles to India via the CKD route.
