Top 5 Motorcycles Sold In India In March 2021: Hero Splendor, Bajaj Pulsar, Honda CB Shine And More

Modified On Apr 21, 2021 02:55 PM By Punya Sharma for Hero Splendor Plus

Another sales report and another clean sweep by the commuter segment!

As personal transportation becomes more and more crucial, the motorcycle segment sees a steady rise in sales. Here are the top five highest-selling bikes from the latest sales report for March 2021:

Hero Splendor: 2,80,085 units

Once again, the Hero Splendor has dominated the sales chart. With 2,80,0085 units sold in March, it is currently the highest-selling bike in India. Its sales have gone up by 34,000 units as compared to February. This is a little surprising since Hero recently hiked the prices of the Splendor and yet, it continues to register accelerated growth.

HF Deluxe: 1,44,505 units

The bridesmaid in February retained its position in March as well. With 1,44,505 sold units, the Hero HF Deluxe has again outperformed all other bikes. Like the Splendor, the HF Deluxe also sees a significant 18,000 unit surge, as compared to the previous month. Hero recently launched a new and more affordable variant of the HF, which should boost its sales even more in the coming months.

Honda CB Shine: 1,17,943 units

Wrapping up the top three spots is Honda’s top commuter bike, the CB Shine. At 1,17,943 units, the Shine’s sales figures have increased by about 2,000, compared to February 2021. While this is a good sign, the CB Shine is still far far away from giving the Hero Splendor a fight for the top spot. However, it maintains its reign as the highest-selling 125cc bike in India.

Honda 2Wheelers Announces India As Its Export Hub BREAKING: Bajaj CT 110 X Launched Bajaj Pulsar NS125: Same Price, Other Options

Bajaj Pulsar: 80,827 units

Bajaj’s Pulsar lineup witnessed a slight decline in March 2021 with 80,827 units, 600 units less than last month’s numbers. The drop is marginal but it could get bigger in the future thanks to the manufacturer’s latest price hike for the entire Pulsar range. Meanwhile, Bajaj’s smallest streetfighter, the Pulsar NS125, which was launched recently, should help shoot up the sales numbers.

Bajaj Platina: 69,025 units

Bajaj Platina has seen one of the biggest improvements in sales. With 69,025 units sold in March, it registered a surge of 23,000 units compared to last month. This is probably due to the Platina getting a more affordable variant recently.
