After many teasers and public test sightings, the Tork Kratos electric bike will finally arrive tomorrow on Republic Day, followed by bookings starting the same day.
Tork had confirmed earlier that deliveries would commence in a couple of months.
Formerly called T6X, Tork Kratos was first unveiled in 2016. After about six years in the making and facing multiple hurdles, the much-awaited electric motorcycle is finally here.
We know that it features a trellis frame, a split-seat setup, all-LED lighting, edgy and sporty-looking body panels, and upright ergonomics.

The Axial flux motor on the Tork Kratos is claimed to have an efficiency of 90-96 percent, producing 6kW and 27Nm, and offering a claimed top speed of 100kmph. The electric motor and the battery pack are reportedly made in India, with a claimed range of 100km.
The bike gets a feature called TIROS (Tork Intuitive Response Operating System) that compiles and analyses the riding data. Additionally, the EV gets regenerative braking, a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, navigation, and OTA updates.
The Tork Kratos will be a more powerful alternative to the Revolt RV400. It is expected to be priced at Rs 1.50 lakh. However, with the government's FAME-II subsidies on EVs and additional state subsidies, the final price is bound to go down further.
That said, if you're looking for even more performance, you might want to wait for the Ultraviolette F77, which is set to be launched soon.
