Tork Kratos, Kratos R Deliveries Commence In India

Modified On Jul 25, 2022 12:46 PM By Nishaad for Tork Kratos R

The wait has been a rather long one

About seven months after its launch, deliveries for the Tork Kratos and Kratos R have finally commenced in India. Tork Motors had initially announced that it would begin delivering units of its e-motorcycles in April. However, with the supply shortages that have been plaguing the automotive industry as a whole, it had to push back the delivery timeline.

Tork Motors has started delivering the Kratos in a phased manner, as the bike is currently launched only in cities like Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengauluru and Chennai in the first phase. In the second phase, the company plans on expanding to 100 cities. Tork plans to have dealerships in six cities and will eventually move to a franchise-based model.

Powering the motorcycles is a 4kWh battery pack which offers a claimed real-world range of 120km on both models in the ECO mode, 100km in the City mode and 70km in the Sports mode. The Tork Kratos pushes out 7.5kW of peak power while the Kratos R makes 9kW. Torque for the electric motorcycles varies from 28Nm for the Kratos to 38Nm for the Kratos R.

On the features front, the bikes get LED illumination along with a fully digital console. You also get a reverse mode, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, USB charging port, anti-theft system, crash alert, ride analytics, guide-me-home lights and OTA updates. Not to mention, it benefits from regenerative braking too.
