The King Of The 160cc Segment Is Now More Expensive!
Thankfully, TVS hasn’t bumped up the price of the Apache RTR 160 4V by too much
Over the years, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has fought off challenger after challenger to retain its spot as top dog in the 160cc segment. This is down to its many excellent qualities, not least of all things like engine refinement and engaging handling. But another large contributing factor to its success has been value for money. That being said, TVS has been giving it frequent price hikes, possibly throwing the VFM quotient into jeopardy. The latest hike has just occurred, and this is where things stand now.

Admittedly, a Rs 1,250 price hike isn’t all that much in the grand scheme of things. In fact, even after this increment, the RTR is still on par with its stiffest competitor, the Hero Xtreme 160R. The Hero is priced at Rs 1,07,490 and Rs 1,10,540 for its drum and disc variants respectively, meaning the two are separated by just a few hundred rupees. We hope it remains this way and neither of the bikes sees a price hike anytime soon.
