TVS Apache RTR 310 Pre-bookings Open
The bike has been teased again, and the overall design looks very similar to the Ducati Streetfighter V4
TVS has been on a roll this week with the launch of its sporty e-scooter, the X. And immediately shifting their focus on to the next launch on September 6, the manufacturer has once again teased the upcoming Apache RTR 310. Also, TVS has announced that the pre-booking window for the streetfighter has started.
At the start of the latest teaser, we got a clear glimpse of the upcoming bike’s side profile. It looks very compact and aggressive. The slanted headlight design and the mass-forward look result in a very uncanny resemblance to that of the Ducati Streetfighter V4. The tailight has a vertical twin-LED setup while the aggressive looking headlight has a horizontal twin-LED setup. Both of their designs add a stealthy look to the streetfighter. Also confirmed from the teaser is that the bike will get an upside-down (USD) fork, and the gold finish makes it look quite premium. The exhaust seen in the teaser looks like an aftermarket one. The production bike is expected to get the same exhaust setup seen on the Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS. Even the heavily contoured single-piece seat seems to be for the sake of stunting.
The last time the upcoming motorcycle was teased, we got a close look at the sleek rear-end and the teaser also confirmed that the bike has been designed by TVS themselves and will not be a rebadged G 310 R. From two previous instances, the first time it was spied and also the second time towards the end of July 2023, we got to know that it will get a muscular tank with tank extensions. It will get a split-seat setup and rear-set footpegs. The upcoming bike will also get a floating licence plate holder and a horizontally-mounted TFT instrument console. It is expected to get dual-channel ABS as standard. You can check this out to get an in-depth view of all the things we know of the bike so far.
The Apache RTR 310 will be powered by the 312.7cc, reverse-inclined, single-cylinder engine that produces 34PS and 27.3Nm in the Apache RR 310. But, for its streetfighter creds, the tuning in the RTR 310 is expected to be different accordingly. Expect it to get Track, Urban, Rain and Sport riding modes as the faired bike too.
The TVS Apache RTR 310 is expected to be priced around the Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark and will rival the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, BMW G 310 R, Keeway K300N and the Honda CB300R.
