TVS Raider Gets Entry-level Single-seat Variant
Besides, all variants now have a front disc as standard
TVS has launched a new variant of the Raider, priced at Rs 93,719 (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes it Rs 6,916 costlier than the entry-level drum brake variant (earlier priced at Rs 86,803, ex-showroom), which has been officially discontinued. The variant-wise prices are as follows:
Price (ex-showroom, Delhi) |
|
Single seat |
Rs 93,719 |
Split Seat |
Rs 94,719 |
SX |
Rs 1,00,820 |
As mentioned, the new entry-level Raider now gets a single-piece seat (as opposed to the split seats which the other variants have) and can be had in only one colour (Striking Red).
Other than this, however, the bike stays completely unchanged from the base Raider variant previously on sale. It uses the same 124.8cc single-cylinder mill making 11.3PS and 11.2Nm. It gets an LED headlight and taillight, halogen cluster, and negatively lit LCD console. That said, TVS recently launched a top-spec smartphone-compatible Raider, which you can know more about from our launch story.
