TVS Star City Plus BS6 Gets A New Colour For Holi
It doesn’t get any mechanical, cosmetic or features updates, apart from the new livery
TVS has launched a new dual-tone colour for the Star City Plus BS6 in keeping with the spirit of Holi. The new shade, Pearl Blue – Silver, will be available across both drum and disc variants. The best part: you don’t have to pay a premium for the new paint scheme. It’s priced at Rs 65,865, which is the same as the base variant. The disc variant will set you back by Rs 68,465. That’s about all there is to the 2021 TVS Star City Plus BS6.
It’s powered by the same 109cc single-cylinder motor that makes 8.19PS at 7350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4500rpm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. There’s no change in hardware either. You get the same suspension setup: a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. A 130mm front and 110mm rear drum brake bring the bike to a dead stop. You could, however, opt for a 240mm petal disc which costs a premium of Rs 2,600 over the drum brake model.

It’s the first bike in its segment to feature a full-LED headlight and even gets a USB mobile charger. This puts it in a better position to take on the Hero Passion Pro, Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear, and the Honda Livo.
