Performance, range, features, we explain them all

Ultraviolette Automotive finally launched its much-awaited motorcycle, the F77 in India. The bike is available in three variants- standard, Recon and Limited. If you’re confused about which variant to put your hard-earned money in, fret not. We’ve explained them all, to help you decide:

While the Standard variant’s 7.1kWh battery pack is smaller, it’s second only to the 10.3kWh battery of the Recon and the Limited variants. It’s also noteworthy that the boost charger is optional for the Standard and Recon trims and standard for the Limited edition.

The standard battery warranty differs on each variant as well. For the battery pack, you get a three-year/30,000km warranty (UV Care) on the Standard variant. The Recon and Limited, on the other hand, get a five-year/ 50,000km warranty (UV Care+) and an eight-year/one lakh km warranty (UV Care Max) respectively. In fact, the base trim buyers can upgrade to UV Care+ and the Recon customers can opt for the UV Care Max as well, albeit for an additional cost. The vehicle warranty, though, remains the same at three years/30,000km across all trims.

Underpinnings

One major difference in terms among the three in terms of what they pack underneath is that the Recon and Limited trims get preload-adjustability at both ends, while the Standard variant only gets it for the monoshock. The 17-inch alloy wheels, 320mm (F) & 230mm (R) disc brakes as well as Bosch’s dual-channel ABS, are all the same on all the three.

Features

All the three variants get the same 5-inch TFT console. It boasts Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, 9-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (gives you information on attitude, orientation, position and more) three riding modes and a lot more. The Limited Trim does get the aero wheel disc though and lever guard as standard, something that’s optional on the Standard and Recon variants. The crash guard is standard on all variants though.

Pricing

Standard

Recon

Limited

Rs 3.80 lakh

Rs 4.55 lakh

Rs 5.50 lakh

The biggest difference between the three is undoubtedly the price. While the Recon’s Rs 75,000 premium could be somewhat justified through its superior features, the extra Rs 95,000 that the Limited trim demands is hard to justify. But then that’s the price you’ll have to pay for exclusivity as it is limited to only 77 units, each individually numbered with a gorgeous exclusive yellow and grey livery.
