Upcoming 2016 KTM RC 390 Spied in India
The updated version of KTM RC 390, which was showcased at EICMA last month was recently spied in India. It was spied in its production plant (Bajaj Auto plant) situated at Chakan, near Pune. RC 390 was first launched in India a few months ago and is expected to receive some upgrades in the 2016 facelift version. 2016 KTM RC390 features a larger 320mm front disc brake, new side-mounted aluminum exhaust (replaced by underbelly exhaust), slipper clutch, switchable ABS and ride by wire technology (replaced by customary cable mechanism). However, the engine specifications remain unchanged.

The bike comes equipped with the same 373cc, single cylinder, 4-valve, liquid cooled, DOHC engine which churns out a maximum power of 43.5 PS at 9,500 rpm with a peak torque of 35 Nm at 7,250 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The updated version of RC 390 is expected to be priced at around Rs. 2.3 lac, increasing the price by Rs. 15,000 to 20,000 as the current model of the bike comes with a price tag of Rs. 2.13 lac. Bajaj may also sell both the trims of RC 390 simultaneously.
