Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Teased Again Ahead Of Its Launch On May 3

Modified On Apr 30, 2024 10:53 AM By Sahil for Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

This time we got to see the upcoming red and white colour schemes of the bike and it does look quite nice

Bajaj has finally launched the Pulsar NS400Z in India at Rs 1,85,000 (ex-showroom). The biggest Pulsar shares the same 373cc engine as the Dominar 400 but is Rs 45,815 more affordable.

The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 has been teased again ahead of its launch days before its launch on May 3. The teaser shows two bikes one in a red paint scheme and the other one in white colour, both the bikes feature a black ‘Pulsar’ badging on the fuel tank.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is likely to share the 373.3cc single-cylinder engine from the Bajaj Dominar 400, which makes 40PS and 35Nm on the sporty cruiser. However, the sprocket looks different from the Dominar 400 in the latest teaser, so we think it could be geared differently. Maybe Bajaj could give the Pulsar NS400 a more peppier tune to suit its streetfighter nature.

The teaser further reveals the fuel tank and tank extension which appears to be more curvy than the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, but the tail section looks sharp and is very similar to the NS200. The tank also has a tank pad which is the same as its smaller sibling.

The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 has a split seat setup and the bike also gets a sleek two-piece grabrail. It comes with a single-piece handlebar and misses out on the clip-ons that the smaller Pulsar NS200 gets. The teaser also reveals a gold-finished inverted fork and a gas-charged \ monoshock. The bike gets disc brakes on both ends and will have dual-channel ABS.

In terms of features, the Pulsar NS400 gets an LED projector headlamp along with lightning bolt-shaped LED DRLs (daytime running lights). The bike is likely to feature the same fully LCD console as the Pulsar NS200 with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It is likely to get ABS modes, and traction control like the Pulsar N250, and may also come with riding modes.

Expected to be priced around the Rs 2 lakh mark, the Pulsar NS400 is likely to be positioned below the Dominar 400, which is priced at Rs 2,30,815 (ex-showroom Delhi). It will pose as a cheaper alternative in the 400cc segment, which includes the KTM Duke 390, Triumph Speed 400, TVS Apache RTR 310 and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.
