Upcoming Hero Bikes and Scooter in 2015

At the 2014 Auto Expo, Hero introduced some of its state-of-the-art products that showed their vision towards the future of two-wheeler industry. The manufacturer broke the bounds of innovation with the unveiling of iON and SimplEcity that runs on electricity and put a pause on environmental degradation. The domestic major also came up RNT - a diesel-powered motorbike and a hybrid scooter named as LEAP that will surely rub-off their low profile.

But today, we will not dig the stats deep and will simply enlighten you with the names of the star products that might launch in 2015.

Hero MotoCorp HX250R

has been designed as an entry level performance bike with its skillful partner Erik Buell Racing. It is the most powerful single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 250cc motorcycle tuned for a maximum power output of 31bhp and torque of 26Nm. Hero is also expected to keep the price of the bike as low as possible, which will certainly demolish the market share of other motorcycles in its segment.

Hero MotoCorp Dash

is a smart and powerful 110cc scooter with a big bag full of exciting features. It is flamboyant and sporty scooter that flaunts elements like USB mobile charger, side stand indicator, boot light, analogue digital meter, service due indicator and LED tail light. It also has some advance security features like Key with E-Code, Fuel Lid opening by Key and Dual Moulding Key. The scooter will compete with current scooters like Yamaha Alpha, Honda Activa, Suzuki Let’s, etc.

Hero MotoCorp Dare

houses an aggressive 125cc, forced air-cooled, 4-stroke, OHC, CVT engine that dominates most of its opponents in terms of power and performance. With an attractive outfit, the scooter offers its prospective buyers with topmost power of 9.11bhp and the utmost torque of 9.5Nm. Braking system of the vehicle is advanced as it is equipped with 200mm dia hydraulic disk brake with 2-piston calipers at the front and 130mm dia drum brake at the rear.

Hero MotoCorp ZIR

is a 150cc scooter with a true style to flaunt and an influential power to experience. Propelled by a 157.1cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, OHC engine, this machine might reduce the count of 150cc motorcycles sold in India. Configured to churn out a supreme power of 14.08bhp at 8500rpm and torque of 12.7Nm at 7000rpm, it can perform better than a motorcycle because of its automatic transmission system. It will get the largest fuel tank capacity of 9 liter, a scooter has ever got.

Hero MotoCorp Leap

is an electric-serial-hybrid scooter that runs on lithium-ion batteries, a 10.72bhp and 60 Nm Permanent magnet AC (PMAC) traction motor and range extendor-anon-board generator set. It is designed for both domestic and international, therefore, its design is futuristic and the equipment is modernized.

However, it’s been a whole year that these Hero MotoCorp products have been in the lime light, so it is time for the company to set them free for the Indian roads.
