Upcoming Hero Xtreme 210 And XPulse 210 Spotted Testing
Hero is all set to soon expand its liquid-cooled portfolio
Hero introduced its first liquid-cooled motorcycle, the Karizma XMR, in August this year. And now this piece of technology is all set to soon find its way into two upcoming models: the Xtreme 210 and the XPulse 210.
Recent spy shots that surfaced online have revealed that these two are currently undergoing testing. The engine on both closely resembles that of the Karizma XMR in terms of shape and color. A close-up shot of the XPulse 210 (the radiator) also confirmed the presence of the 210cc liquid-cooled engine.
The XPulse 210 gets LED lighting all around. Other bits include spoke wheels, a slender profile, and a tall stance, closely resembling that of the current XPulse 200 4V. Interestingly, it lacks the inverted fork, something that even the smaller Xtreme 160R 4V gets! While the Xtreme 210’s headlight is camouflaged, it seems to have an aggressive appearance. One distinctive feature is the broad and elevated fuel tank, seemingly reaching the test rider's stomach!

Despite the welcome introduction of liquid-cooled engines to the Xtreme and XPulse series, it raises a concern. The Karizma's engine is a peaky one which could work well for a streetfighter like the Xtreme but might pose challenges for an adventure bike like the XPulse. Yes, it might enhance the XPulse's touring capabilities, but it may affect its off-road performance, an area where the XPulse has always excelled. So it’s likely that Hero could retune the XPulse 210’s engine.
And finally, we think these two bikes will be here by the end of October 2024. Hero may price the Xtreme 210 at Rs 1.60 lakh, and the XPulse 210 at Rs 1.90 lakh(both ex-showroom).
