Now that the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has subsided and restrictions eased, several manufacturers have lined up exciting launches for this month. Take a look at what’s on the menu for the next 31 days:
Ola Electric Scooter
Ola Electric has already commenced the pre-bookings, and the electric scooter is set to be launched in the coming weeks. Ola promises competitive pricing (presumably around Rs 1 lakh, ex-showroom), and the company also plans to establish a massive charging network to support its scooter. This month, Honda is set to launch its first small-capacity adventure-themed motorcycle, likely to be called the Honda NX200. 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350
After several delays due to the pandemic, the 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is likely to be launched this month. It will be powered by the same all-new 349cc single-cylinder counterbalanced motor from the Meteor but in a classically styled package. Simple Energy Simple One
Bengaluru-based startup Simple Energy will be launching its first offering, called ‘Simple One’ in the country on August 15. The upcoming electric scooter is likely to be priced at around Rs 1.10 lakh, making it an ideal alternative to the Ather 450 Plus. It also boasts an impressive 240km range in Eco mode. Expect premium features like smartphone connectivity, fast charging, and navigation.
Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid
