Updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 Reaches Dealer Yard Before Launch: Gets Smartphone Connectivity
The updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 gets a full-LCD console along with updated switchgear
The updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 has been spotted at what looks like a dealer yard, ahead of launch. The bike gets a negative full-LCD console with smartphone connectivity, along with an updated left-hand side switchgear.
The current-gen Bajaj Pulsar N160 has a semi-digital display that includes an analogue tachometer and a digital display that includes a speedometer, odometer, gear position indicator, instantaneous and average mileage, distance to empty, and a digital clock, with the basic telltale lights on the analogue and digital displays.
In addition to all that data, the new negative-LCD console on the updated Bajaj Pulsar N160 gets smartphone connectivity with call and SMS alerts, phone battery and signal indicator, but seems to lack turn-by-turn navigation. The instrument console also features a warning message section at the bottom which shows details like mileage error messages and low fuel alert.
Moreover, the upcoming Pulsar N160 also gets a refreshed left-side switchgear layout that features a new control for the headlight’s high beam, low beam and pass switch. There is a new button that can be used to navigate through the instrument cluster.
The rest of the aesthetics and mechanicals remain unchanged on the naked bike for now. It continues to feature a 164.82cc air-/oil cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 16PS and 14.65Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
We expect the updated Pulsar N160 to receive approximately a Rs 3,000 hike from its current price which is 1,30,560 (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike is likely to launch in the coming weeks.
