Yamaha celebrates turning 60 with YZF-R1 retro edition
To mark their 60th anniversary, Yamaha has revealed yellow and black retro edition for their endurance race team at the Bol d’Or along with a limited edition road bike. In the recent past the all-new 2015 R1 has been a rampant sales success for this Japanese bike manufacturer in both R1M and standard form.

To make this all new limited anniversary edition even more attractive it will be equipped with official genuine accessory Akrapovic slip-on endcan with carbon shield. It features an iconic paint scheme ‘Kenny Roberts’ as a tribute to the distinguished racing legacy of Yamaha spread over 60 years of journey. The standard bike on the other hand is available in Race Blu and Racing Red color with minor graphics updates.

The manufacturer has not shared how many units of this limited anniversary edition bike will be manufactured but the confirmed news is that it will be available from December 2015, with a price of £15,749 or Rs. 16,11,124.
