Yamaha India Extends Warranty And Service Period For Its Two-wheelers

Modified On May 14, 2021 03:00 PM By Pratik Bhanushali for Yamaha MT-15

The brand has temporarily shut down production owing to the pandemic

The outbreak of the second Covid-19 wave in India has led multiple two-wheeler companies to take various measures to not only break the chain but also serve the customers. As part of its ‘Lifetime Quality Care Approach’, Yamaha India has extended the warranty and service periods for its motorcycles and scooters till June 30, 2021.

The benefit includes the free service, standard warranty, extended warranty, and annual maintenance contract. If your Yamaha two-wheeler’s warranty (or service period) expires during the lockdown, don’t worry. The brand has already notified all its dealerships across the country.

The Japanese bike maker has also decided to temporarily shut down production in India from May 15 to 31. However, you should still be able to purchase motorcycles from your local Yamaha dealer.

Hopefully, things will pick up the pace once again when the wretched virus is on the wane and localised lockdowns are lifted.
