Yamaha Launches New Colours For The Yamaha R15, FZ And FZ-X Lineup

Modified On Jan 9, 2024 05:08 PM By Govind for Yamaha R15 V4

Some of the colours look really attention-grabbing. That said, there are no other updates, be it features or mechanicals

The R15’s new Vivid Magenta Metallic is a unique new colour scheme that will turn heads. This colour scheme will be exclusively available in Yamaha’s upscale Blue Square outlets.

The new colours in the  FZ-S Fi V4 come in a glossy finish and look quite good. The existing Metallic Black color is now replaced with the striking Matte Black option and the seat colour for the entire FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX range is now black.

The new Matte Grey on the FZ-S Fi V3 looks pretty dull in our opinion whereas the new Matte Cyan colour on the FZ-FI V3 reminds us of a similar shade in the Yamaha FZ25.

Coming to the FZ-X, Yamaha is planning on rolling out a Chrome version of the FZ-X and the price will be announced in February 2024. Yamaha seems to have taken inspiration from the Mr Clean Colour scheme of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. The price of the Chrome variant is expected to be fairly more than the other colour variants.

The updates are limited to cosmetics and all bikes listed haven’t seen any feature enhancements, let alone performance. Yamaha should’ve added more features particularly to the ageing Yamaha FZ range. That would’ve given the popular Yamaha bike more potential to go up against other Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache bikes.
