Yamaha MT-15 Receives 11 New Colours
The new colour options cost a marginal premium over the standard colour options
Yamaha India have announced that customers planning to buy the MT-15 can now customise their motorcycles. Called the “color customization option” buyers can now opt for 11 new colour combinations. for Yamaha’s streetfighter. Deliveries for the customised Yamaha MT-15s will commence in January 2021 and customers opting for the yellow colour shade will have to wait till March 2021. The new Yamaha MT-15 colours are priced at Rs 1,43,990. In comparison, the base colour options retail for Rs 1,39,900 whereas the Ice-fluco vermillion shade carries a sticker price of Rs 1,40,990 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
Apart from the introduction of the new colour options, cosmetically the bike remains unchanged. Powering the bike is a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor producing 18.5PS at 10,000rpm and 13.9Nm at 8500rpm. In comparison to the BS4 model, the new engine is 0.8PS and 0.8Nm less than the BS4 model. The Yamaha MT-15 competes against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.
