Yamaha Two Wheelers At Auto Expo 2025

From a scooter to supersports and ADVs, the range of Yamaha two-wheelers at Auto Expo 2025 is quite varied

A wide variety of Yamaha two-wheelers are present at Auto Expo 2025. Here’s a quick look at all of them:

Yamaha Tenere 700

Yamaha showcased the Tenere 700 at Auto Expo 2025. The bike gets a fully adjustable 41mm KYB inverted fork with 210mm of wheel travel and a fully adjustable monoshock with 200mm of wheel travel. The bike also has a massive ground clearance of 240mm. The Yamaha Tenere 700 will rival the Triumph Tiger 660 Sport, Honda XL750 Transalp and the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE when launched in India.

Yamaha Lander 250

Yamaha Lander 250 is a dual-sport motorcycle. The bike gets dirtbike-inspired styling, long travel suspension and an upswept exhaust. The Lander 250 will have the same 250cc engine from the now discontinued FZ-25, producing 20.5PS and 20.1Nm, coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The Lander 250 has 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels and comes equipped with dual-sport tyres.

Yamaha MT-09

The MT-09 is based on the same platform as that of the R9. It is powered by a 890cc, liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine producing 119PS and 93Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick shifter and slipper clutch as standard. The naked hypersport gets 298mm dual disc brakes with a radially-mounted Brembo master cylinder at the front and a 245mm disc brake at the rear. The MT-09 is expected to be launched in India this year and will rival the Triumph Street Triple 765, Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster, and BMW F 900 R.

Yamaha R7

The Yamaha R7 serves as a successor to the legendary R6. The R7 gets a 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 73.4PS and 67Nm. It has a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and the quickshifter is optional. It comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and also gets all the advanced riding aids. The 700cc supersport is expected to arrive in India this year.

Yamaha R3

The Yamaha R3 is showcased at Auto Expo 2025. The R3 gets a 321cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine producing 42PS and 29.5Nm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The R3 is priced at Rs 4,60,000(ex-showroom). The updated R3, which is on sale abroad, is not present at the expo. However, Yamaha is planning to launch the updated model in India soon.

Yamaha Nmax-155

Yamaha showcased the Nmax-155 maxi scooter at Auto Expo 2025. The scooter is powered by the same 155cc engine from the Aeroz 155 and R15 V4 and produces 15.1PS and 13.5Nm. The Nmax 155 gets a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, keyless ignition and traction control system. It gets a 7.1 litre fuel tank and weighs around 131kg. It will rival the Aprilia XSR 160 and Hero Xoom 160 when launched in India.

Yamaha FZ-S Fi DLX Hybrid

The Yamaha FZ-S Fi DLX Hybrid is present at Auto Expo 2025. The bike is powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a hybrid assist. The already established commuter bike now gets even more fuel economy and a slight power boost from the hybrid technology. The bike also gets updated styling with tank integrated indicators,  a slightly redesigned front end and all LED lighting setup. It gets 810mm of seat height, a 10-litre fuel tank and weighs 139 kilos.
