Suzuki Avenis

Suzuki India has recalled over 4 lakh units of its 125cc scooters including, the Access 125, the Avenis 125 and the Burgman Street, along with a few units of the recently launched Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE ADV.

Suzuki Avenis Price:

Suzuki offers the Avenis in four colours, Glossy Sparkle Black Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No 2 Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black and Glossy Sparkle Black Pearl Glacier White. All four paint schemes are priced at Rs 92,000 R. Meanwhile, the Race Edition, in Metallic Triton Blue colour is priced at Rs 92,800 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). 

Suzuki Avenis Features:

The Suzuki Avenis is loaded with features like an LED headlight and taillight, a USB charging port and a full digital LCD cluster. It packs various readouts like the speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel level readout, and Bluetooth compatibility. This gives you access to call/SMS alerts, a battery indicator and overspeed alerts. For added convenience, the Suzuki Avenis also features an external fuel-filler cap and gets two utility hooks. 

Suzuki Avenis Engine:

Suzuki has powered the Avenis by a 124.3cc air-cooled motor that makes 8.7PS at 6750rpm and 10Nm at 5500rpm. It’s the same motor as the one used for Burgman Street and the Access 125.

Suzuki Avenis Suspension, Brakes & Other Details:

The Suzuki Avenis is sprung by a conventional telescopic fork and a single rear shock. It gets a front disc and rear drum brake setup with a Combined Brake System and rolls on a 12-inch front and a 10-inch rear wheel. 

Suzuki Avenis Rivals:

The Suzuki Avenis’ direct rivals are the TVS NTorq 125, Yamaha RayZR 125, Honda Grazia 125 and the Aprilia SR 125. However, for a similar asking price, you could also opt for the TVS Raider, Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
