Where is the CNG tank located in the Jupiter CNG?

The 1.4kg CNG tank is positioned under the seat, replacing the storage compartment typically found in the petrol-powered Jupiter 125. The tank is neatly covered with a plastic panel, with an eyelet for the pressure gauge and a filler nozzle for refueling.

What is the fuel efficiency of the Jupiter CNG?

TVS claims that the Jupiter CNG offers an impressive claimed fuel efficiency of 84km per kilogram of CNG, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.

Does the Jupiter CNG also have a petrol tank?

Yes, the scooter features a 2-litre petrol tank mounted on the floorboard. The filler nozzle for petrol is conveniently located in the front apron, similar to the design of the Jupiter 125.

What is the combined range of the Jupiter CNG?

The scooter boasts a total range of 226km when utilizing both CNG and petrol, ensuring convenience for longer commutes.

What engine powers the Jupiter CNG?

The scooter is equipped with a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.2PS at 6,000rpm and 9.4Nm at 5,500rpm, with a top speed of 80kmph. 

How does the Jupiter CNG compare to the petrol-powered Jupiter 125?

Apart from the alternative fuel system, the Jupiter CNG retains the same design, ergonomics, features, wheels, and brakes as the Jupiter 125. But the regular Jupiter 125 makes 8.15PS and 10.5Nm.

Is the Jupiter CNG available for purchase?

No, the Jupiter CNG is currently a concept model, and TVS has not announced a launch date for the Indian market
