udChalo VirBike

udChalo, an e-cycle maker, just unveiled the VirBike, an electric cycle designed keeping the Armed Forces in mind. According to the founders, the name Vir is symbolic of Ohm's law where V=IR, a critical equation in the science of electric energy.

Vir is positioned as a ‘high-performance’ e-cycle with comfortable and smooth ride quality as its core selling proposition. The e-cycle has been designed to handle harsh conditions and is IP65 and IP67 rated. The e-cycle gets a lightweight frame, disc brakes at either end and a handlebar mounted electric cut off control unit for the hub motor. 

The Vir is available in the five popular armed forces colours -  army olive green, naval white, air force blue, commando black, and infantry grey. You can even personalise the Vir by stickering  your defence service ID.

The udChalo Vir e-cycle will cost Rs 25,995 for armed forces personnels and Rs 27,995 civilian purchase.
