Ampere has announced a price cut of Rs 10,000 for the Reo Li Plus, Magnus EX and Magnus LT.

The Ampere Reo Li Plus is a low-speed electric scooter from the Indian EV maker. It comes with a modern design aimed at riders of all ages. Focused on daily commutes in the city, this scooter offers practicality and comfort while being easy on the pocket.

Ampere Reo Li Plus Price:

The Ampere Reo Li Plus is priced at Rs 59,900 (on-road). It is offered in four colour options: Red, Orange, Blue, and Yellow.

Ampere Reo Li Plus Features:

The Ampere Reo Li Plus comes equipped with an LED headlight and a taillight, along with bulb indicators. It has a digital instrument cluster that shows the speed, battery level and odometer readings apart from tell-tale lights. The e-scooter also comes with a USB charging port and decent size underseat storage for extra practicality.

Ampere Reo Li Plus Motor & Battery:

The Reo Li Plus is powered by a hub motor connected to a 1.3kWh lithium-ion battery. Its top speed is limited to 25kmph, so it doesn't require a license to ride. The battery is removable and takes 5-6 hours to charge fully. The scooter has a claimed range of around 70km.

The Ampere Reo Li Plus has a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. It also has 10-inch alloy wheels combined with drum brakes at the front and rear. The scooter has a ground clearance of 155mm, with a maximum loading capacity of 120kg.

The Ampere Reo Li Plus is a low-speed electric scooter and is the most affordable offering from Ampere. The company is a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton, a conglomerate that specialises in energy solutions. Unlike traditional scooters, the Reo Li Plus does not require registration or a licence, since it falls under the sub-25kmph top speed category. This makes it easily accessible to almost everyone including school- and college-going youth.

The Ampere reo Li Plus looks pretty sporty for a low-speed electric scooter, complete with creases on the body panels. It is available in four vibrant colours and features funky graphics, to appeal to a younger audience. The e-scooter features an apron-mounted LED headlight, while the sharp-looking taillight, chunky grab rail, and swingarm covers complete the look at the rear.

The Ampere Reo Li Plus is fitted with a 1.3 kWh lithium-ion battery. It boasts a maximum top speed of 25kmph and offers a claimed range of over 70km, which makes it suitable for urban commutes. E-scooters with a top speed of 25kmph or less can be ridden without requiring a licence or registration number, making it a convenient buy for riders of all ages. Charging from 0 to 100 percent takes about 6 hours.

The Ampere Reo Li Plus is equipped with a telescopic fork and dual rear shock absorbers, which should offer a decent ride quality in the city.
