Ampere has slashed the prices of its electric scooters following the introduction of the FAME-II subsidy. If you’re planning to buy one, check out the revised prices in our story.

The Ampere Zeal is priced at Rs 59,990 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), inclusive of the FAME-II subsidy. Ampere claims the scooter can reach a top speed of 55kmph and has a range of 75km. It employs a 60V, 30Ah lithium-ion battery, and is powered by a 1200W BLDC hub motor. Suspension components include telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Ampere offers drum brakes with CBS as standard.

    Amazing scooter, good quality electric scooter by Greaves, looks are nice. Visited the dealer (Volt Motor EV) showroom in Kharadi, the courteous and polite staff gave good information.
