BSA B65 Scrambler Summary
BSA has revealed a new 650cc scrambler globally. Based on Gold Star 650, the scrambler comes with a more rugged and modern design. Rumours on the internet report that it can be named - BSA B65 Scrambler.
The BSA B65 Scrambler features a similar design as a typical scrambler. It looks rugged with a headlight grille, a braced handlebar, raised front and rear fender, a single-piece seat, different side panels, a different exhaust and block pattern tyres. It gets the same fuel tank as the Gold Star, but with modern colourways.
The 650cc Scrambler has the same 650cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the Gold Star, making 45.6PS and 55Nm. However, the engine may be tuned differently on the scrambler to match the bike’s nature. The scrambler is also likely to get a larger rear sprocket.
The off-set digital instrument console also looks different from the BSA Gold Star’s twin-pod analogue console. The scrambler’s higher variants could also get smartphone connectivity features.
The 650cc Scrambler may get the same frame as the BSA Gold Star, which may be tweaked a little. The bike gets a telescopic fork with fork gaiters and twin rear shocks. It has disc brakes on both ends, with dual-channel ABS. The B65 Scrambler is equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, wrapped with 110-section front and 150-section rear Pirelli Scorpion STR tyres.
The BSA B65 Scrambler is said to be launched in the United Kingdom by December 2024 and is likely to be launched in India by early 2025. We expect it to come at a premium of Rs 10,000 over the BSA Gold Star which is priced between Rs 2,99,990 and goes up to Rs 3,34,990 (ex-showroom). This means, the scrambler can be priced somewhere between Rs 3.40 lakh - 3.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

- This bike capable of performing well off roadBSA B65 Scrambler is one of the best bikes in the 650cc lineup. The robust and strong looks, 19-17 inch spoke wheels and Pirelli tyres make this bike capable of performing well off road. The 650cc power from the engine feels quite strong, and the raised mudguard also enhances its adventure-oriented look. Priced slightly higher than the Goldstar 650, this bike seems to be the perfect choice for those who are more stylistic in their riding game. Can't wait to see how it rides.Read MoreWas this helpful?1
