What are the engine specifications of the BSA Gold Star?

The BSA Gold Star is powered by a one-of-a-kind 650cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. It makes 45.6PS at 6000rpm, and 55Nm at 4000rpm. It has a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. 

What are the features of the BSA Gold Star?

The BSA Gold Star doesn’t have a lot of features. However all the features that it gets are quite functional. Starting with an analogue twin-pod instrument cluster that has a speedometer and a tachometer. There are two digital insets – one in each pod, that have the odometer, trip, and fuel-level readouts.You also get a USB charger for your devices, mounted on the handlebar. 

Is the BSA Gold Star a heavy bike? 

At 201kg (kerb), the Gold Star is a heavy bike, at least on paper. However, when compared to the Royal Interceptor 650 that weighs 218kg (kerb), the Gold Star doesn’t feel as bad. However, it remains to be seen how the Gold Star handles its weight when riding.

If you want a retro-styled bike with simple features, and looks good, the Gold Star could definitely be worth checking out. Not to mention the brand legacy that it carries with itself and the charm of it. However, we can tell you more about it once we get to review the bike.
