Hey there, this is Anuj Gandhi. I am passionate about bikes and like to take their test rides in my free time and review them. The bike I am talking about here goes opposite to its name and is certainly not an ‘Achiever’. With many other options in the 150cc bikes, Achiever does not even stand close to the best bikes. Pulsar 150 is one of the most popular bikes of India and with its presence in the Indian two-wheeler market, it is very difficult for a motorcycle like Achiever to make an impact. I own a Pulsar myself and find it much better than Achiever. I took a test ride of Achiever few days back and found out that the bike starts vibrating at higher speeds and its gear shifting is also not that smooth. However, it is priced a bit low than others and has alloy wheels as standard. Achiever is failing to make an impression on the Indian crowd and it is unlikely that it will sell large numbers.Read More
Hero MotoCorp Achiever is a 150cc motorcycle that comes with a price tag of only Rs. 61,00 (ex-showroom New Delhi). It is powered by a 149.1cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, OHC single cylinder engine that comes coupled with a five-speed gearbox and uses wet multiplate clutch. It churns out a power of 13.4bhp at 8,000rpm with a peak torque of 12.80Nm at 5,000rpm. The bike can reach a top speed of 101kmph. It has been assisted with a powerful headlight that throws a steady beam of light, thereby ensuring a proper vision at nights. The reliable 240mm front disc brake offers a good stopping potential and never fails in case of an emergency. Hero MotoCorp Achiever has a maintenance free battery that cuts down majorly on maintenance costs. In a 150cc motorcycle segment, it is difficult to for Achiever to compete others as others are old offerings and also liked by people.Read More
